With cousins and fellow drifters Ian (cousin), Elmer, Francis, Jazzy, John(bro), Wednesday(Bro’s mainsqueeze), Daisy(cousin), JC(idol/friend) Jun2x(cousin) and Kenneth(cousin), we traversed the trail ways leading to the breathtaking grand vista Osmeña Peak has to offer. After marauding the mountains and after several photo sessions we descended down to the town of Mantalongon and then down towards the famed Ubong Spring in Dalaguete, but when we reached there, we were so unfortunate because it was lowtide, and the waters isn’t enough to give us quality fun. After three years of yearning, I finally got the chance to go back to Atlas Mining in Toledo. The last time I was there, the whole place was like a ghost town since operation there had been put to a hold... But now, that all systems are in a go, everything has changed. Thanks to Miss Earth and the "earthlings", I together with cousin, Ian and buddy Apiong, had a a very grand tour throughout the acres and acres of land that Atlas has occupied...I will no longer have to describe it through words, just see the pictures... Literally this is my first Milo Marathon—photo coverage that is! :P hehehehe..Im sorry this album has been long overdue…it really took me some time to upload the pics due to the abrupt change sa akong kinabuhi karun. :) This big sports event happened last August 3, 2008. Together with my cousin Ian and friend Don Franco, we went through the hardship of waking up early at dawn, wading through a sea of green people just to get to a better vantage point—the starting line. Also we were actually there to support our friend/idol- JC Pineda, who enlisted herself in the marathon…And actually finished the whole 21K---Wow! Way to go Idol! It was such a great honor considering we’ve been close friends for like forever…and now she’ll be marrying the perfect man for her…Im so glad to be part of their celebration. This album is for their prenup pictorial. For this shoot I teamed up with my ever reliable partner in crime Apiong Bagares to devise a plan and to come up with new and interesting and daring ideas.. Our concept is to deviate far away from the usual prenuptial photoshoots..To cut out the cheesiness or at least lessen it a bit..We wanted to go against the flow, we wanted to go to the extremes.. Thus, TRASH THE DRESS came to us….and when the soon to be couples agreed on our concept and to the stunts their about to undergo, we rolled out, rode a bus and went to a Southern Province. This time at every 5pm-2am the City will be putting roadblocks to give way to stalls and bazaar tents for all merchants who wished to take on their business into a hype for a given time. My bills really are killing me literally. At this moment I found myself lining at MCWD to have my water line reconnected again—Yes naputlan jud ko sa tubig! Imagine I have to pay 4K to have it running again? So there with my “puppy eyes” I pleaded my case, and had the reconnection fee at a half price, but only after signing a promissory note saying that I’d carry over the remaining balance to my next bill…Darn! Anyways…Time really flies and, naabtan jud ko sa lunchbreak before I was able to sign the promissory so they asked to come back after an hour---Darn Twice!! I didn’t want to go home yet without having my water back yet I Still have to wait an hour…I was bringing my camera with so I just scanned some of my old pics to kill some time—it was then instinct again got hold of me. previous post and i could say this was the higlight of our adventure that day....after doing a short street photography in colon...we dont know what has gotten into us that we decided to go to Liloan...straight to the old Parola.... It was a complete day with 50pcs of bread and a 1.5 liter of Coke to cap it all up....we stayed in the Parola vicinity for 2 hours then we started strolling the streets of Liloan going to the spot where Liloan got its name...A place where the river and sea converge. This natural phenomenon somehow produces several whirlpool effects on the water... So on that day when I crossed fingers with Elmer (elmarshox), I decided to invite him for another street session, since we still had no chance to have this together...when he said yes, i contacted some friends, but unfortunately only two joined in...Jazzy and Francis... The Fête de la Musique began in France and has since spread over a hundred countries or cities : Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Britain, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Israel (in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv), China, India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Pakistan, Philippines, Romania, Colombia, Venezuela... New York City held its first festival in 2007. The idea was first broached in 1976 by American musician Joel Cohen, then employed by the national French radio station France Musique. Cohen proposed an all-night music celebration at the moment of the summer solstice.
